Grant Supports Student Leadership Program

A grant from the Panda Cares Foundation will fund Leader in Me student materials, including student workbooks and teacher guides, as well as a coach whose focus will be tailored to each school’s needs.

New Assistant Principal Chosen for Potrero School

Melissa Negrete has worked as a teacher on special assignment, English language instructional coach, summer school principal and teacher in third, sixth, seventh and eighth grades since joining the District in 2002.

Summer Virtual Learning Academy Launches

More than 1,000 students are attending a trio of summer academies that blend virtual instruction with hands-on activities, including cooking, American sign language, musical theater, art and robotics.

School Closure
