As part of their End-of-the-Year festivities, the El Monte City School District held a drive-up celebration for their new retirees. The latest crop to cap their dry-erase markers were greeted with cheers and gifts as they said farewell to their colleagues. The District also honored service pin honorees as part of the celebration. On Thursday, May 13, the CDC issued new guidance regarding mask wearing for vaccinated people, stating fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask. El Monte City School District must still follow state and county mask guidelines, which still require mask wearing at EMCSD campuses. Click headline for full update from the District.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
